EXCLUSIVE PRE-CURVED CUT
ALA straps deliver a new ergonomics experience as never before thanks to the Exclusive Pre-Curved Cut. The unique cut and design confer to the ALA straps a distinctive appearance similar to a Paragliding Wing. From this similarity comes the name of these straps: ALA in Italian means “Wing”.
UNIQUE ERGONOMIC PADDING
The padding features a unique thick rounded shape that, combined to the soft suede, guarantees an unsurpassed comfort. Thanks to this exclusive design, it is mainly the padding that comes in contact with the neck skin, while the pressure coming from the leather edges is minimized. This design guarantees a perfect weight distribution and avoids areas of local pressure that may cause redness and irritation.
RICH IN DETAILS
ALA straps combine the most prestigious techniques of Italian Leather manufacturing and are rich in beautiful details. All Tuscany Leather edges are carefully hand painted and beautifully stitched. The leather surround of the pad is made with a sophisticated technique. The Tuscany “cuoio” is thinned down, cut into thin stripes, then all the stripes are jointed together with a special process. The long continuous strip is then used to surround the pad.
WIDE LENGTH RANGE
ALA straps are very versatile and are designed to be comfortably carried both on the neck and across the shoulder. Thanks to the double length adjustment they can be set at a wide range of measures. The length range slightly changes between the two attachment versions, universal 10 mm band or metal split ring. A convenient leather strap loop keeps the adjustment tidy and add an extra quality touch.
CANVAS & TUSCANY LEATHER
ALA straps are made of Tuscany leather and cotton canvas. We use a top quality cotton canvas made in Italy by one of the most prestigious weaving companies in the Milan areas. This classic combination makes the ALA straps the ideal complement to any camera and equipment.
ATTACHMENT BAND
4V Design straps feature a custom connection band based on our exclusive design. This 10 mm band is soft, comfortable, exceptionally strong and durable like no others. It is made of 100% polyamide and derives from military application bands. Its special design allows for a very high resistance to tear, wear and cut. The herringbone design makes much stronger stitched connections and the camera weight is distributed over a higher number of treads for increased durability. The band end is uniquely “folded & stitched”. This solution makes 4V straps much safer by preventing the band slipping out of the buckle accidentally. The sleek metal buckle is very compact, with rounded edges and easy to grab thanks to the ergonomic design.
